Braided Fabric Shoelaces: This DIY is fast and takes no sewing or glueing. Simply take your fabric of choice and cut it into three thin strips, tie the three strips together into a tight knot. For easier braiding, tape or pin the knot to a stable surface and braid all the way down. The fabric shrinks in length by A LOT so take that into account. Shoe laces for average sneakers (like Converse all-stars) are 30-40 inches long.
